He shot 70 rds from the balcony of the MGM Signature.

He had a TRO on him from CA which prohibited his ownership of guns. In NV, you have to be a resident to buy a handgun, which it seems like he isn't.  IDK this for fact, but it seems like he was staying at the hotel as a guest and not living there permanently nor was a NV residents mentioned. But investigation is still on going, so I may be wrong. Even if he bought the gun from a private party, NV law requires all sales to go thru a FFL that does the NICS check, excluding immediate family.

At least the ceilings are bullet proof cause he fired into it multiple times.
