In the debate, Kackles publicly stated she is a gun owner.  I guess that comment is right up there with, "I can't be racist -- I have a Black friend!"

However, she's said on numerous occasions that she is in favor of mandatory "gun buybacks" -- just as Australia has done.

So, was she lying then, or is she lying now when she says she's not going to come for your guns?

Australia has no Second Amendment type of protections, which is why they could enact such a confiscation program.  In order to do that here, the US government either needs to change the Constitution, or they will be violating the Second Amendment rights of all gun owners.

I wonder if these idiots who propose such governmental actions have a clue about the implications constitutionally.

Regardless, ABC was unable to fact check her on the spot like they did Trump multiple times.  Go figure.
