When it is embraced weaponized, communities thrive become slaves.  The Aloha Spirit belongs and always belonged in the hearts of the people of Hawaii.

Somehow it now becomes the law of the land, used to circumvent even the Constitution itself, along with other laws and ordinances as seen fit by the State's Supreme Court.

I am confident the trend towards change will be reflected in today's voting.  It might still turn out blue, but currents of change has begun.

Let's not let that spark of change falter and sputter out.  Keep fighting. 

In my opinion we should be celebrating our nation, and the people, indigenous or not, that has blended into one.  Equality, not equity.
