GUNS! Boo!

Ghost guns are an issue that HPD wants addressed by state lawmakers.

"January 1st to October 31st, we had 88 ghost gun related offenses, meaning that either the gun was seized stand-alone or it was seized in cooperation with a crime," said Major Lambert. “So the issue is when people are carrying barrels and carrying parts they are either trying to distribute what they have to people who can't acquire them legally, or they are trying to acquire the rest of the parts that they need to complete their weapon."

Make no mistake, ghost guns are not fake. When looking at the two different firearms, taking a closer look at which one has a serial number is how to tell them apart.

What is alarming is that new 3-D printer technology allows people to produce these parts in their own homes, then simply drill a few holes. This is able to produce a deadly gun assembled in seconds before using it to commit a crime.

HPD is also planning to introduce legislation to make jail time mandatory for place to keep firearms offenses.

“It doesn’t matter where you made it, how you made it, you shouldn’t be walking around town with it,” said Major Lambert.

It was interesting to note that the TOPIC is GHOST....

Anyway a couple of weeks back, someone i know, a LONG time hunter, 2A supporter etc etc etc, informed me of a "conversation" he had with a "high ranking" Law enforcement "official"  regarding the proposed "parts ban".  This "high ranking" person is NOT against us.  so he told my firend that  informed me that it's REALLY bad!!!!

So im saying if WE ALL need to MONITOR and SHOW up to OPPOSE this PUSH....TO BAN PARTS....Slides, Barrels etc...From what was told to me, at worst case , it would follow High cap AR mags with companies refusing to ship parts to us...Oh boy!

Have a nice weekend!!!

Jill Kuramoto built a Ghost gun in under 40 Seconds, If you consider putting barrel and slide together with frame.

That's not the full story. Assembly, sure. From raw parts as the HPD has assumed with an FDM printer = NO.
