One of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention (OGVP) programs was to help states create their own State Office of Gun Violence Prevention. 

One of the goals was to have states enact bans and other gun control ordinances and statutes which the US Congress was either barred from making due to the US Constitution or which the members of Congress were unable to achieve a winning vote for in the House and Senate.

The program also wanted to establish and fund controversial gun seizure programs such as Extreme Risk Protection Orders – sometimes referred to as “red flag” laws.

It's great the WH webpage (and program?) are gone, but there needs to also be a reversal of any damage done at the state level.

A new bill was just introduced to make any state gun bans, ammo taxes and other similar gun control laws illegal.  If this passes, it will become a fight over states' rights which might contradict the US Constitutional protections for individual rights.

Good! I hope this bill passes and should the blue democrat controlled states (ours included) choose to fight back, they will lose! Because the federal level US Constitution, with rights guaranteed to individual citizens, trumps the states' rights to take or ban our arms in the name of Aloha Spirit, Equity, Safety, Maintaining the Peace, insert bull$%!+ Democrat excuse to get rid of guns here.
