Seems that if the police shoot you or arrest you there is almost always a "he/she was a good person" where the media interviews the family and friends of the suspect.
But if the person is not shot by police...

I feel sorry for Mr. Thompson and his family. I feel sorry for the Tokuhara family and friends.

The deceased Mr. Tokuhara lived a risky lifestyle. He was a big gambler. he also had
affairs only with married women and women who were in long term relations. It seems that
he loved to tempt fate. I do not feel sorry for him.
