If someone wanted to pick one to learn which is better for Hawaii?

Do neighborhoods and industries make a difference?
Sharing is caring, but forced redistribution is communism.

Good question.  I am filipino but born in Hawaii (2nd generation).  I cannot speak a word of either however my ethnic group supposedly speaks visayan.

But when I was working, there were many ilocanos working for our company.  They understood and can also speak Tagalog.

So if I wanted to learn filipino I would learn Tagalog.
