is there a difference between the arsenal SAM 7 and the SLR-101? is that the same AK?

If you are referring to the new sam7r, no there is no difference.

I believe the SLR-101 has its receiver milled in Bulgaria, while the SAM-7 has its receiver milled in the U.S.

The value of anything is very subjective.

If I were buying it, I'd pay no more than $1000 for it.

If I were selling it, I'd try to get $1500 for it.

Looks like the sam7r is 80% milled in Bulgaria and finished/assembled in the US. Whereas the 101 is assembled in Bulgaria minus 922r parts.
