Got my Nosler 77 gn

Not too bad for 16 cents per bullet plus $13 shipping. I bought 1,000 for $160 then they went on sale yesterday for $150 and asked if they can refund me the $10. We'll see...

I was gonna try them with TAC on my new measurer but finally figured out how to operate their website and was shocked to find that RL15 is the most accurate. The extruded powders are less accurate on the measurer than the ball so which should I try? I also have Varget and IMR4895.

The most accurate suggestion in reloading data is subjective as it is the most accurate in their test barrels which you obviously don't have. All the years I have been reloading I have only found one suggested load in a manual to be the most accurate in my rifle. I'm a big fan of Varget in that weight bullet/cartridge combination. The 4895 should also work well. I found Varget usually provides good ES and SD numbers.

I don't usually use a powder measure when testing loads for the first time. I usually weigh each one individually using my Chargemaster. After I figure out the best load I use the measure to create mass quantities of the load. Keep working on those loads!!!

Been using RL15 underneath Nosler 77s for years.
White Oak 1x7 20" barrels and my current one is a Shilen 1x7 20". Shoots knots and am confident.
Today I shot a Palmetto State Armory 1x7 barrel, $299 upper and it shoots OK.
It'll shoot knots at 200 and 300.
In a pinch when I don't have 80s I'll shoot 77s.

Yeah, I'm finding that ball works best in the measurer and extruded with the trickler.

Well, there you go. I would trust Ren's judgement about the RL15.

The 80s have to be each hand fed, huh?

Picked up some RL-15 at PSH today for .77 gr. SMK.    Previously used CFE-223 and BL-C(2) for these bullets.
Still have 8 y.o. RL-15.  Wondering if the max loads need to be treated differently.
