So, being the new pistol shooter that i am, i dont have a pistol frame, so i was thinking of going to the silhouette side, but i've never been there, obviously.

how does it work?  what are the rules?  same as pistol side, or different?

what should i be practicing there?

Thanks in advance.

you really should build a frame.  It's less then 2 dollars in wood from home depot or lowes and they cut it to size for you if you bring them the dimensions.  a few screws later and you'll have your very own target.  that being said, if you wanna shoot silhouette, why not shoot on the silhouette side.  its a hell of a lot cheaper then buying your own silhouettes to shoot.  that and you can't set them up on the pistol side.

I have always gotten there when it first opened so I never had to wait in line before.  How does their waiting list system work?  Or do they even have one?

I don't ever remember hearing them call out names of who is next.   After someone is done shooting, and there are a bunch of people waiting to shoot, it seems like someone just walks up to the line to shoot.  Do the people waiting just know who came before them?

Oh, and are we allowed to bring our own reactive targets?

Thanks for any info.
