Moilili Armed Robbery

Whoever called this in obviously knew enough about guns if he identified both armed with .38 caliber revolvers. Which one of you was it.

Makes me wonder about the story though. Were they home. Were they not. Were they hidden. Who gave all those details. Residents or neighbors. etc.

other stories in the news recently include an armed robbery of a small mom & pop store in Kalihi....

Another home invasion

A teenager stabbed by a 32 year old guy

And the best one, a 32 year old robbery victim stabs one of multiple bad guys trying to rough him up during said robbery attempt

Maybe, in anticipation of providing factual info during any testimony that may be needed this year, we should start saving and cataloging these types of events. The prevailing attitude seems to be Hawaii is "safe" and that is one of the reasons we "don't need concealed carry here..."

Great Minds think alike.  I had a similar thought this morning after reading the article about mentally "ill" criminals on the loose.

The paper said something like 450 mental criminals are loose on "medication and supervision"  '

The story: http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/20101107_Violence_caused_by_freed_patients.html

Think I will save the whole section.

I brought up cataloging events like these for later use in another thread but it got lost among the other debates . I was actually hoping someone else would suggest it here. Crap ran out of time.

I can't take the cataloging on, but if someone can... please... *pleads* do log this stuff down.

Maybe, if technically feasible, we could start a thread/sticky here on the forum and everyone could post their articles, etc. and use this as a central data depository?

2A - Is this feasible?

Okay, I've created a topic where you can log these events. Until we can find a better way, just post any events you find and I'll update the original post.
