    Aboul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, where the US President told him that He was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the step son of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

    Aboul Gheit claimed Obama told the Arabs to show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic issues, like the Health care reform, he would show the Muslim World how to deal with Israel.

What the heck does that mean?

Not that it matters whether he is or isn't, but how the hell are we supposed to know if what's stated in that article is true?

As to the topic...

According to (common) muslim philosophy we are ALL muslim... some of us just don't know it because of the devil's trickery. (Christians were almost exactly the same when that religion was the same as Islam is now.) So you can view the President's statement, as relayed by the (muslim) Egyptian official, that he is aware that according to muslim view he is a muslim. Or you could view it as a stunningly stupid reveal of the secret that he is not just muslim (according to muslims) but a RADICAL muslim, he killed Bin Laden because he wasn't radical enough and any moment now he's going to use executive orders to enforce Sharia Law.

And while we're thinking about which of those 2 it might be, here is some suggested reading: The First Amendment

Even if he were a muslim it shouldn't matter, should it? Or is it only acceptable to have a protestant as President of the country? If JFK is any indication... that may be the case.

I wonder why he bothers. We've got it handled all on our own, I think.

Politicians in general always try to BS you, party affiliations aside..........they all BS.  You go to a town meeting and these guys all tell you they are your friends and the other guys are tryng to do _______ to you and I'm the best.  Over the last several decades one party or the other has had a bit of power over the other and the system keeps getting crappier.  The only constant is we elect unqualified people who refuse to keep their chronies accountable for their actions while fostering an attitude of "I deserve" instead of "I earned."

So to summarize, regardless of Obama saying anything he lied, Bush Jr. lied, Clinton lied, Bush Sr lied, Regan lied, Carter lied, etc.

How can you tell if a politician is lying???



The mouth is moving.

Oh the other hand, turn on the TV and you get lies all the time.

News - lies (agenda)
Commercials - lies (advertising and creative marketing)

No wonder we have generated generations of liars. We have been perfecting lying over many generations.
