Yeah man, pretty cool stuff.
The pics of the wobbly bullets got my attention.
Thanks for sharing!

Air rifle bullet travelling ~190m/s hitting match head. In red head match pictures bullet was aimed just to scrape match head. Interestingly some matches ignited on impact although they were so called safety ones. Safety point of view it may not be the most wise thing to shoot incendiary targets indoors ;) In blue head image bullet hit stick below match head.

Well, impact generates heat.

I never wanted to get in debates as to whether copper jacketed bullets can throw white-hot sparks on hitting things, because I've seen impact flashes off plain old rocks when hit with high speed jacketed bullets if shot near dusk, but I cannot document it.  People don't believe it, "because copper doesn't throw sparks."

Well, neither does ice or air, but you can sure see a hot flash when an icy meteor hits the air up above us.  Or when the Shoemaker-Levy comets hit gassy old Jupiter a couple of years ago.

One thing I'd like to see captured somehow is the shock wave from the air column exiting the barrel before the bullet does.  Well, you know.  The air in the barrel ahead of the bullet has to go somewhere.

I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.

Here's a cold hunka rock hitting the cold old moon.  Lower right corner of screen.  Set your viewer to repeat.
