Other Firearm Forums? (Read 9303 times)

Other Firearm Forums?

Besides 2ahawaii, what other firearm forums are you a member of?  Any particular ones you would recommend?  So far I post on here, ForumHawaii's real gun forum, and I used to post on HRA's forum but their forum activity seems to have all but dried up.  I'm looking for a couple new forums to frequent.

I wouldn't say the HRA forum has dried up... I have to moderate as many as 30 spams per week over there!   ::)   S'allright, tho.  The word is getting out here, and that's what matters. 

Actually, this is currently the only gun forum I frequent (beside policing the HRA forum).  I rotate into and out of Surplusrifles.com and Rimfirecentral.com.  Other than that, I only go where a need takes me, and usually only for long enough to find a solution.

I frequent the high road (both .org and .us) and sometimes visit ARFCOM for the OGC specials.

I've posted here the most.  I lurk on arfcom and 1911forum.com just because I don't have much to add to the "expert" opinions.

Aside from here, I go to arfcom every so often, mostly to view equipment exchange and OGC's specials, m4carbine.net, sniperhide, lightfighter.net, louderthanwords.us (custom 1911 forum)and usualsuspect.net (a knife forum).

I would also recommend The High Road, as well as Of Arms and the Law, The War on Guns, Learn About Guns, and The Armed Citizen

I also frequent some other forums but they are more specialized discussion than this one is.

Opencarry.org forums (dealing with open carrying, laws.. etc Some state specific topics)

ARFCOM Soo many sub forums it is hard to keep track. I am new to this one but seems like there is a good population of knowledge, and of snobbery if you don't get a Noveske or LMT or Colt your comments are irrelevant.  ::)

Northeast shooters, mainly new england based user group.

Same or similar username at most sites.  Only frequent a couple sites with any regularity, might pop into others from time to time.  Best site for the AR15 / M4 is m4carbine.net, best pistol site is pistol-forum.com or brianenos.com for competition stuff, best long range precision is snipershide.com, might also see me around lightfighter.net or socnet.com.  The last two sites or even m4carbine.net is not for the faint of heart.

Cool.  I have never heard of that forum before.

m4carbine.net - everything AR-15, with many other categories (handguns, nfa, gear, etc.)
1911forum.com - more 1911 info that i could ever need
snipershide.com - recently started to view for precision bolt action stuff - seems like a site for guys with too much money to burn.  haha, j/k, just envy all the high end gear that's talked about.
