Question about Nightforce Scopes
« on: September 02, 2013, 06:21:13 PM »
Is the hex set screw on the cap metric or standard? It didn't come with any so I have to go out to the store.
Google it cause every question is a dumb question.

What's the model? And are you reffering to the turrets?

Oh, 5.5x22-50 and yes it's for the turrets. I want to adjust the zero stop but all the ones that I have don't fit it. And I don't think it's a good idea to bring my rifle to home depot for a test fitting. lol

man I have the 3.5-15x50 F1, I'm looking at the manual and it doesn't say a thing about size or set of screw. But I did take mines apart to look at the Allen screw heads and I use both metric and standard and the both work! Nothing differnt about them just how they are labeled, Just find the snuges and tightest fit and you have a winner.....  But I suggest bringing the scope in and see what size it would take just for reference wise. I don't want to be a blame if something were to happen to that beautiful scope. The guys in the kapolei are 2a enthusiast  so they wouldn't mind brining your scope in and they would help and explain the sizes. Sorry brother If icouldn't help you out....
