For those with Harris swivel bipods...

I have one of those Harris bipods with the swivel base and if you have one of these you probably know it is pretty much impossible to tighten the little knurled knob that controls tension on the swivel. Harris makes a little lever to replace the stock knob (for $30) but I found a place that sells some much cheaper called t-nuts.com I ordered one and received it today and I just cannot keep my mouth shut on how great this lever is over the stupid knob!!! Only takes about 10 seconds to install it but you need a 1/4" nut driver to get the old one off.

I bought this one:

and I also got one of these:

I ended up using the smaller micro version because I am afraid with the other one I will break the bipod by some over eager tightening. The levers them self seem very nice quality and more attractive than the stocker. The place had some great customer service and only charged me $2.50 or something for shipping. I know this post sounds like an advertisment and it kind of is but really it is such a cheap upgrade it is a no brainer if you have one of these bipods.

I just tossed it into my spare parts collection, I may get another bipod for a different gun in the future so i'm hanging onto it for now. I like the longer handle more but I have a tendency to over tighten things. It could be dangerous!
