vzor 58 and yes, resembles but is not a Kalashnikov design. Nothing interchanges and completely different design but the girl is what's appealing. To keep it pure...

The guy who designed the vzor 58 was inspired by the StG 44. Both the StG 44 and vzor 58 are always discussed in detail in all good AK books because of the resemblance but have completely different designs. The AK community generally accepts both of these rifles as distant relatives.
