NRA News video on Peruta. Wish we had a sheriff like Fresno County's. (Read 1332 times)

It's almost 8 minutes long, with interview segments from a number of different people, including Chuck Michel, whose firm is litigating Peruta. There's probably not a lot of new information for people who have followed the case closely, but it's a good introduction for people who might be interested. For me the most interesting part is the hardline pro-Second Amendment position taken by the Fresno County sheriff, who happens to be a woman. If we had police chiefs here who had 1/10 (1/20?) her attitude, fortitude and outspokenness for the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear (CCW) arms, we'd be dozens of times better off than we are now. She plainly states that the other sheriffs who deny CCW based upon self-defense not being a "good cause" are clearly violating the Constitution, violating their oaths of office, and using it as a ruse for "gun control". Lucky people in Fresno County!
