Changed powder from Winchester Autocomp to Winchester WST based on a recommendation from a good source. Ran the first 100 of many thousand to come tonight.

Figured out the initial cost per box to be $11.35 a box for .45 ACP 230 grn FMJ

Next run of 1000 will be $5.85 a box. That will be the average cost per box of 50 minus the initial cost of the brass until the brass needs to be replaced.

Best deal I have found on the island was ~$15 (new) a box by buying in bulk.

Nice things are we get to QA the ammo and choose the load specs.

Plan on shooting this batch this weekend and adjusting the charge/OAL

More to follow.

I don't think you wanna crimp 45 *too* much.  I just make sure I take out all of the flare and I make about 3 uncharged rounds and try to setback the bullet by pushing it with moderate pressure on my table.

I agree. There is a specific  number for it (.471)  Its on my other computer at the reloading bench.  I miked the  crimp at .471 and then compared that with factory rounds...same same.

IIRC .45 acp, as well as many other straight wall rimless cartriges, headspace off the mouth, so dont crimp em too much.
