I'm interested in more details, but so far it's not sounding real good...
http://www.kgun9.com/story/14621212/marine-killed-by-swat-was-acting-in-defense-says-familyCliffs:
-Pima County SWAT serving narcotics warrants, the take down one house down the street that had drugs and cash, and then for some reason are serving a warrant on a former Marine's house .
-Wife wakes the husband to the sound of people breaking in, she wakes him in a panic, he tells her to get their son and hide in a closet. He then arms himself with an AR to see whats going on.
-SWAT officer's firearm "accidentally" discharges during entry, officers think it was the homeowner and open fire. 71 rounds fired, 60 into the former Marine.
-Officers refuse to let the EMT's inside to tend the victim immediately, over an hour later they eventually enter and pronounce him dead.
-Sheriff's dept states they were shot at first, then recant their statements. The victim's AR was still on safe, no rounds fired.
Sad, as the wife is claiming no identification from the officers were given, hence the family thought it was a home invasion. The Sheriff's dept is claiming they had sirens and were knocking and announcing themselves. Someone's lying here, and I'm kinda believing the wife's side of the story...
