Not to sound all tin-foil-hatery but what do you guys think of the reaction of the grieving parent in this video?

Santa Barbara shooting parent talks to CNN

Santa Barbara shooting victim shot 5 times walking about

I don't know why but my Bullshit Meter is ringing watching the footage.

In the second clip, the 5-time-shot victim keeps looking up and to the left.  That's a typical sign of lying for most people.....

People like Michael Moore use the exact same editing tricks, cheerful music scores to insinuate naivety of subject on camera while music is playing.

Don't fall for propaganda on either side.

Amusing videos, but pointless and boring after a few minutes.

I only watched the first video but to be honest, I found it immature and disrespectful.  Once the Ron Burgandy clip part started, I turned it off.

I don't think the father is acting, he did lose a son, or is the video suggesting that never happened?  I think what we see here is misdirected anger.  The shooter is dead so he needs to focus his rage on someone, anyone.  I think in this particular instance there were errors made with respect to gun control.  The shooter had a serious and documented mental illness that somehow fell through the cracks.  This is what the guy should be going after, how the shooter despite all the concerns from this therapist, etc., was able to legally obtain a weapon.  He used a handgun in one of the most regulated states in the US so I really don't understand why he's going after the "high capacity" and "assault weapon" angle as neither had anything to do (nor would have prevented) this tragedy.  He's fighting the wrong battle, IMO.

I don't agree with a lot of what the father is saying but that stupid YouTube video is not the way to get your point across.  (OP I know you didn't make the video, I'm just saying in general)

Thanks for the comments guys. The video production is a bit annoying especially where the video loops but I was looking at the body language of the people in the videos and some things did seemed a bit off or strange.

If you look at the video after the Ron Burgundy insert, the facial expressions and even the words seem a bit strange. He seemed a bit happy and there are none of the stress and anxiety of someone who just lost a family member.

Maybe it's the editing. Perhaps I should have looked for the raw footage instead of these.

the family's  lack of facial expressions may indicate that they are on medication
same with the father's body language/smile/demeanor when he had the picture of his son

same thing on the sandy hook and other videos like those you posted

most people on antidepressants have the same fake, blank smile and talk in a similar manner
at our office, we call it the "prozac smile"
