IMO, the AH64 Apache helicopter is a way cooler helicopter than say... Airwolf?

KITV: Eight powerful Apache helicopters arrive in Hawaii

Seeing them in person would be so cool...

I opened the tread half-expecting to read that Obutthole had transferred them to the DHS and IRS.

Relief that it was our military getting some needed equipment.

Apaches are cool but not as cool as the Cobras! I wish the Army would have followed the Marines lead and modernized and upgraded their Cobras instead of getting Apaches. A Cobra in a dive on a gun run with its blades popping sounds menacing and terrifying you know death is coming an Apache doing the Sam thing is kinda Meh. The Apache airframe and mechanicals are good to go it's just the weapons and associated electronics that are a massive pain. Apaches are good when everything works. IMO armed Blackhawks are way better and they can carry more ordnance in the cabin to reload themselves. Jl808 if you want to go look at helicopters one day let me know.
