48-shot revolver... from 1855

I guess once "they" ban all "semi-automatic military-style weapons" (i.e. "ANY and EVERY semi-automatic") we'll have to reach back 159 years to the "large capacity" 8-cylinder, 48-shot percussion revolver of 1855, designed and made by Joseph Enouy.

I'm stealing/passing along a couple of the comments to the original post (http://www.saysuncle.com/2014/06/15/high-capacity-circa-1855/):

1. I would hate to see the CC holster for that!

2. I know what you’re thinking. Did he fire 48 shots, or only 47? Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?

Is that a 48 shot in your pocket, or you just happy to see me?
God, guns, and guts made America. Let's keep all three!
