still having trouble posting pics

using an imac, not sure how to shrink the size of the photo in order to post pics, keep getting the too large error message thanks...

I don't have a mac, so I'm not quite sure how to do it, but this site provides some instructions: http://www.techiecorner.com/1178/how-to-resize-image-in-mac-os-x/

Otherwise, you can always host pics at photobucket. Just upload the pic and there will be an box on the right that copies the required bbcode just by clicking it.

Email the pic to yourself.

It will give you different options about what size picture to send.

Choose one that is under 1000kb.

When you open the email, save the new resized pic. Then delete the older larger pic.

The new pic can be used on this site.

I upload my pics to photobucket, then use the thumbnail feature to cut and paste pics into my ads.  Then again, I still refuse to use a smartphone, nor do I text.
