Anyone own a War Sport LVOA-C???

Trying to decide what to buy next....
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

I don't think alot of people here are familiar with warsport or the lvoa uppers. Me personally do not have one due to the fact that it's a low visibility system and I don't plan on using night vision so in essence no need spend 3k on that  platform. Just buy the rail... Lol. I went salient hopefully in the future put on their jailbreak system.

I saw them and they're a friendly group of people.  They have some interesting ideas like the lvoa that are unconventional.  IMO you may want to wait of their suppressor compatible rail system.  If you ever move to a more 2a friendly state, you'll be glad to have option to mount a suppressor.
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Like.

If willing to drop 3 large on one purchase, that certainly opens the door to a whole new realm of possibilities.

I think I would wait and be an early-adopter of the Desert Tech MDR.

... but I might also go the route that keliishane went, and go for a Knight's SR-15, with all the goodies, from Ayan.

... or complete my .308 bolt action with a Manners folding stock and a buttload of accessories.

... or get that FLIR thermal imaging device that I've reading about.

... or get that civilian DBAL and some NVD gear.

Shit, I LOVE spending other people's money!!
I happened to have gotten a chance to hold this desert tech MDR you speak of and fondle it a bit.... and well I agree it is quite a nice piece of hardware.

well that salient jailbreak rail is designed exactly for that point already. The front quarter removes with a push of a pin and twist so a suppressor can be utilized for the operation. Plus some other excellent features. And it kinda mimics the lvoa rail but much more modular and surprisingly light

The MDR is cool but I've already got a great bullpup in my Tavor and if I'm going to get a bigger caliber than .223 in a bullpup design it'll be the Desert Tech SRS.  Was also looking into a bolt action in the form of the GA Precision Gladius/Crusader or the H&K MR762A1 LRP for semi-auto.

As for SAI I was also interested in it but I've been browsing a lot of AR-15 forums and apparently there have been a decent amount of Salient Arms BCG failures which is quite disconcerting.  I was pretty excited for the Jailbreak, especially since it looks so cool lol, but #1 is reliability.  Patriot Ordinance Factory makes a gas piston AR-15 and ADM's ambi-lowers are pretty awesome but what draws me to the LVOA is the fact that I can't find any complaints in regards to the rifle.

Decisions decisions, spending money is too damned easy lol.
