Agreed but in my discussions with some liberals about such instances they just see it intrinsically different. It's like some of them are working with a different set of logic. They think with all their gun control ideas instances like this wouldn't happen so there would be no need for an armed citizen to save the day. Now there is some intuitive basis for their line of reasoning but they don't seem to see past the gun itself.
You have hit an important point, but are probably trying to be polite.
Terms like "intuitive basis", "different set of logic", "intrinsically different" are how Democrat Party types view the world.
I view the world and many like me view the world in more concrete terms eg
2+2=4, the derivative of a constant =0, 0 anded with 1 = 0, P=IE, no intuition,
no deviation in the basic logic rules, right and wrong are pretty self evident.
Liberals/ Democrats believe things work. I don't believe things work, I prove it.
Belief didn't build B777 aircraft, send men to the moon, and build the modern technology
we all depend so much upon.
That is the fundamental problem between Democrats and the rest of the world.
Democrats believe they are correct and the rest of us know we are correct.
Democrats believe guns are evil, we know people are.
Democrats don't know what they don't know, the rest of us always question and
at least try to prove that what we know is true.
I'm not wise enough to solve this conflict peacefully.
I will therefore continue with my passive aggression
against the Democrat state.
Happy new years.
