Why I’d rather be shot with an AK47 than an M4.

missile wounds, and also if you find an entrance wound, there’s no telling where in the body the projectile might have ended up!

Last year I went to the dark side and purchased an AK47 after having been an AR guy for 45 years. The first time I took it to the range to zero it in, I noticed that I hit the wood part of the target several times. What caught my attention was that there was minimal damage to the wood. Just a straight through hole. Few holes here and there actually. Different result with the AR. Wood is splintered and chances are you would have to replace the 2x2's. Seems like my 10/22 did more damage (splintering) to the wood than the AK round.

seriously.  though you can just imagine a total crazy sitting there looking at the wound and guessing, and then cheering when he get it right.

Good points.

AK has better penetration through obstacles.
If one gets shot with an ak in the head or a vital organ, you're dead.

Here we go, AR vs AK!  :D
