HPD accepting downloaded, pre-filled application forms

Apologies if this was already posted, but haven't t seen it on 2AHawaii yet: http://www.kitv.com/story/30901490/firearms-application-forms-now-on-hpd-website

A couple years ago, HPD made some of the firearms forms available online, for no apparent purpose other than information..  I recall printing out one of the  forms and filling it out before I went to HPD,  but the guy at  the window wouldn't accept it and insisted on handing me paperwork that had to be filled out on the spot.

So that has changed as of this week,  according to the KITV story and HPD's own website dated 4 JAN 2016  http://www.honolulupd.org/information/index.php?page=gunmain

We can now print out the forms and fill them out before we go to stand in line, "to help expedite the application process," according to HPD.

I would say, "Makes sense and It's about time," but don't want to ruffle HPD feathers or appear ungrateful.

So mahalo nui loa, :shaka:
