 ???
Not aword on the subject of Blake Oshiro moving out of the legislature.
Has he gone to a place where he can cause us less problem or more?
Who will replace him.
Hate to admit but he was the rep in my district.
He did not have my vote.
Aloha

I think Blake Oshiro was one of the most anti-gun reps (or at least on paper) so being in the very liberal Governors office can only make things better. I think they will have a special election to replace him, although I'm not great about knowing how things work. Anyway, hopefully we can get a rep that believes more in personal freedoms.

He wasn't cool enough to dignify with a thread :P. Thank you for honoring him!  He was one of the most anti-gun people in there, so that will be nice to have him gone.  We did have some stuff with Pink Pistols in the works though to send to him.

The troll, errr, I mean Abercrombie, gets to appoint his replacement. And yes, Oshiro was one of the most anti-gun legislators we had......he'll likely continue to be "anti" and simply use his new position to advocate more "gun control" but from a position where he has some plausible deniability....he'll probably pursue other political positions and will use this to insulate himself from any future accusations of being "anti-gun."

I didn't know he was the one who is proposing to ban 50BMG.

We need to make sure he never gets in Office again.

Rep Ken Ito is my high school teacher.  He is a Democrat and is Pro-Gun.
We need to get behind him.

He played the gay card and got in...all in a time when the state passed legislation in favor of same sex unions.

We almost got him out a few years ago when Gerry Coffee ran against him.
Missed by less than a hundred votes as I recall.
Maybe Gerry will run again.
My kind of guy.
