What I had posted is factual information obtained from the eye witnesses themselves. Brycen is family....there's also something called public records onine that gives the public access to names and addresses. The news had released some of this information as well regarding the killer. If there was a "group" of them that supposedly stole the bag, wouldn't it have to be a single person out of that group? It would not necessarily have to mean that Brycen was the one to take it. Why is it the killer stabbed Preston first? Brycen had hit Julian after Julian stabbed Preston and threatened to stab his girlfriend. Some people, such as the family in the Mayor Wrights incident will get involved to protect their loved ones from getting stabbed, and even if they don't have a weapon and supposedly even if they're outnumbered, it's a valid and legal claim for self defense for the killers to walk free? That's injustice!! The world would be a better place without Brycen?!?!?!?!?! Then again!!!! Video does not LIE. Based on Video evidence a self defense determination was made. Witnesses lie, videos don't. Deal with the facts, not the rumors.

Makes sense that you would stick up for your family. I know I would. But at the same time, your emotions cloud your judgment of the facts. A group of people took the bag, even if it was the decision of a single person he still had the group to back him up. He is guilty by association and an accessory to the crime. Also, considering he hangs out with that type of people, he probably did things like that too. Did he deserve to die? Probably not, but that's the risk you take when doing stupid things/allowing your friends to do stupid things like that. The world is a better place without stupidity, whether it be through death or jail time their actions led to it and they can only blame themselves for being in that situation.

The eyewitnesses being the other people with Brycen?  As was stated, the self-defense determination was made after reviewing video of the incident, interviewing your witnesses, and interrogating the guy with the knife.  After all that, an impartial third party, with no stake in the case whatsoever, decided that he didn't believe the story the witnesses were telling, and declined to press charges.  I sympathize with your loss, but my support for the human right of armed self-defense doesn't change based on who I'm talking to.  I will admit that I would probably be more diplomatic, so you have my apology for my callousness.  However, at the end of the day, Brycen was part of a criminal act that prompted the victim to resort to lawful deadly force, and that is something I will never apologize for.
