Koko head range

I had forgotten about the flare/ fire incident at the range a few months ago until somebody Jogged my memory.
Folks had to be Helo'd off the old tram way and all of Hawaii Kai was alleged to be in imminent danger. All because of us at the range.
Quite a flap  as I recall
It was blamed on a City range officer who was playing with a flare gun.
He was arrested for felonious something. Felonious dumb at least if this was in fact the case.
Have heard nothing further.
Did this just dry up and blow away???

My guess is the case is still in process.  I think when anything happens the fear mongering news peeps will post a follow up.
