I am so happy, I finally got out to the range today. I got there at about 12:30 and had to wait in line for a bench. Luckily people cycled through quickly enought and was sitting by the next round at 1:00.

I took out my brand new Ruger 10/22 with Bushnell 3-9x32 rimfire scope. It was great. I got it sighted in at 50 yards pretty quickly then moved the target out to 100 and zeroed it in there. It seemed amazingly accurate and shot alot better than me and the scope was bright and clear. About 100 shots in, the rings were a little loose so I tightened them back up and had to re-zero. Below is a picture of my final target, including the ones it took to get it zeroed.

I also got to try out my first ar15 carbine and bolt action .308. A great day.

Congratulations!  Any day slinging lead is a good day, and a day making your peace with a new gun is better then most!

wow lucky u was about to go today but had homework to do and had to go work.  hopefully i'll be out there this weekend with the wifes purple 10/22.
