If you're interesting in owning one, I have one for $5.  Used it one time before I bought the bigger brother model that does the upper, too (Barrel, fore end, etc).

I see many use the hammer and punch method, but it's harder to control.  It's also more likely to mar the surface -- assuming the owner cares.

Little tip, If anyone has a KMR front end, the wrench for the barrel nut also works for the castle nut.   This works way better than the hook type and is very less likely to slip off and mar the gun up.
