wary works better

Given the context in which it was used, I agree with your spelling.

Saw this movie.  Available on different free movie sites.   The idea of the thinning seems like a liberal progressive idea like the Obamacare death panels.   Guess that's why old, useless people need the 2nd Amendment and semi auto Personal Defense Weapons with standard capacity magazines to stop being thinned, at least for a while.

I'm almost done watching it. It's OK.
Plot is not too original.
It's just stylized Darwinism.
We all know thinnings happened in the past, continue today, and will continue long after we're gone.

What I can't figure out is why politicians still roam the Earth.
They're vestigial appendages that should have fallen off our butts a million years ago.

I'll go watch the end now...

Both work.   :geekdanc:
Actually, the word's usage COULD be correct if followed by  "of it" or 'with it".
As it is used, it's out of context.   :geekdanc:

... based on a statistic sampling, which is just as good as, if not better than, actually asking 100% of scientists for their scientific opinion.

This film sounds like a Democrat agenda, for real.

how about this "thinning"....
Maybe start making people accountable for their [dumb] actions again, without PC bullshit, then the problems would solve themselves?

Yeah, but....... What you want is hard. Why do things the hard way when you can be PC? [/sarcasm]

PC = Lie in order to not deal with the hard truth. Unfortunately, this president will be the last real leader, no BS, no PC leader we will ever have. Unless Pence is elected after Trump era. After that? Gen Xer's and Millenials. There are a lot of good young people here on this forum, but I think the Dems will rise again and the U.S. as we know it now will cease to exist. JMHO

No, no they dont, They are both different words with very different meaning. Man up and admit you made a simple mistake that MANY, MANY, MANY people make.

Summary

Is it wary or weary? There is only one letter’s difference in the spellings of weary and wary. The meanings of these words, however, are not so close.

Wary means alert or
Weary means tired or no longer interested.

This post has been proof that such an inhumane and atrocious program would NOT be disagreed by 100% of people, and many would even AGREE to it.

The irony is that most of these proponents are likely to be millennials, and in my opinion, the millennials will be the first generation to be eliminated in exactly this manner, 30 or 40 years from now when they are OBSOLETE compared to the new generations.

But first, the guns have to go, and along with that, control of medical care.

If there was something like this in the real world I doubt they would have humans pass or fail you.  It would all be computerized and unbiased or the public would be weary.
I wish American society was intelligent enough to ensure such protection, but it isn't. Lawyer, teacher, and many other exams are not computerized and unbiased. These days it seems most "standardized" exams are not completely computerized and unbiased.
