Is it really worth the $200 to SBR anymore?

Poll posted on ar15.com. Not that it matters in Hawaii because we can't do either. We're special. For sure. I posted this mostly just for the comparison pics.

Is it worth the $200 anymore?

["NO" is currently leading the poll 54% to 46% "YES"]

I really can't think of any pros to a stock that an improperly used brace does not provide besides the ability to use a VFG... maybe a few yrs ago you could say the looks, but that's no longer true IMO

I can however list a few pros that a brace provides.
- ability to use it hunting in a handgun zone
- carrying it loaded in the front seat
- no stamp cost or paperwork
- can cross state lines
- can be sold without reconfiguration
- no engraving requirements
- I am sure I missed a few

I'd SBR only for a suppressed AR.  Other than that, no real interest.  I mean I think they are cool and would be fun to own one, but lots of other things I'd want to spend $$$ on before that.

Wait until the legislature hears about that!
