Geez Zippz, I don't what else they do generally speaking. If you want to get down to every specific class type they offer, and every specific service they offer and every different product type they sell I will have to Google Foo everything. And your rules don't allow for that. Oh, and give us a history lesson on the NRA and the NRA-ILA. I know I have read about it before but honestly I have forgotten.

NRA was founded after the Civil War by military officers.  They found military marksmanship was very poor during the Civil War and researched training techniques and created training programs and competitions.  Their purpose was to help the military with marksmanship training and civilians who may enter military service or get drafted.  As time went on, their mission grew to include law enforcement training, hunting, politics, and the other programs we have today.

For the Institute of Legislative action...
- Advocates 2a legislation in Congress.
- Works with local organizations (HRA) to push for 2a friendly State legislation.
- Takes on 2a court cases
- NRA University to create 2a friendly groups in college campuses
- NRA Grassroots to get volunteers to help with 2a activities and plan events.
- Has a regional attorney in California that comes down to Hawaii to assist the HRA with the annual list of pro/anti gun state legislation, creates testimony on behalf of NRA, and talks to state representatives.

Probably more, was hoping someone else would chime in as I know ILA works closely with the HRA and others here.  Another thing is regular NRA membership dues and donations are not used for the ILA, you must donate directly to NRA-ILA.

No one brought up hunting yet.  I'm not a hunter so hope someone else can talk about that part of the NRA.

Same with the youth programs.

NRA and NRA-ILA are two completely separate entities.
