That's a interesting strategy to protect gun rights, already done in many States to prohibit gun control by the counties. Supreme Court rulings would be a cleaner way of protecting gun rights, but I'll take it regardless.
One thing I would like to see to see, from the government and non-profits and businesses, is more emphasis on educating the public on firearm safety. Keeping guns properly secured, promoting firearms safety courses, getting the proper training, children and guns, etc. There's some programs out there but they're not advertised much.
