Amen to that.  Last time I was there, that was the first time in a long time I watched the news without some addition, comment, or spin that irritated me. Lol

I found PBS is left leaning but not wildly so. Most of the time. I hear occasional objective reporting but I find they give left leaning reporting much more air time than right or centrist reporting. So while someone who can think for themselves won't be influenced unless they want to, I feel PBS is still left leaning overall and I don't believe in giving them taxpayer dollars due to this. BTW, I don't believe in giving PBS taxpayer dollars no matter what if they are going to report political stories. They definately spend more time in reporting most issues giving one more in depth insight. I do learn much from listening to them. But what I usually learn is more about the left side of things since they seem to me to spend more time reporting their side. It is very subtle.

I have never heard A&G. If I can find some time I will check out a podcast or two. My favorite podcast is Andrew Klavan from the Daily Wire. He is definately right but he is satirical and makes fun of those that deserve it. He has a great sense of humor. I like Ben Shapiro as well but he has gotten quite dry as of late. So when he gets back to his usual reporting style I will get back to listening to him more.

I find that PBS definitely covers liberal topics more but when they do cover a topic on the right or a topic that has both sides they tend to do a fair job in addressing both sides ideas on the issues. I don't often hear language from the reporters that would push a judgement which is one of my pet peeves. A journalist shouldn't say whether something is good or bad, right or wrong. Don't call this a tragedy or a victory, just say it happened and let me make my own determination. I agree that we shouldn't really have a state supported media outlet though. If they want to exist they should do so based on their own merits. They do in part considering pledge drives that gets money from private citizens but that should be their only method, not a government support.

If you type in armstrong and getty show there is a website that has the files that play through the browser so there is no need to download. It also streams it live when the show is on but that starts at like 3am our time. Here is the website.

Ben shapiro is a little dry but I enjoy his logical statically based arguments.
