Gun Laws in Nevada

I bought my MN and 1911-22 through mail order and paid $25 each for the FFL at a gun store near the south end of the Strip. I don't think it's there anymore. I remember filling out a simple background check with the local police and had to wait three days for the waiting period. At the time, I thought it was a long, long time when you know the firearms are just sitting there at the gun store. :shake:

The Vegas shooter was an avid hunter and had dozens of firearms and thousands of rounds of ammo.

No state permit or waiting period would have prevented what happened.

How about we address that?
That's the core of this tragedy - not the tools.

Any call for bans on vehicles after these tragedies?

Agree. McVeigh was found guilty of murder, not domestic terrorism.

I also agree that no length of waiting period would've helped since he was planning this for a long time. It mainly helps to prevent suicides, and three days is more than enough. I was okay with the Nevada gun laws but the Hawaii gun laws in comparison are absolutely ridiculous. It's obvious that the strict requirements are here to penalize gun owners instead of protecting the public.
