I like the very last line in the article, a comment made by Dana Loesch.  “They [the liberal dems] don’t understand the middle class”.  I agree 100%!!!  I’m middle class and all I do is get dumped on.  I make too much money to qualify for any type of assistance,  but yet I live paycheck to paycheck and have to worry about whether or not I’ll be able to retire one day because they keep increasing taxes they can help protect people who don’t even belong in the US in the first place and give free crap to all these entitlement idiots.

I'm not sure it's that the liberal dems don't understand the middle class or that the liberal dems are "good" at manipulating the middle class.  I recall a discussion about why the upper class needs the middle class.  I can't find the article now, but IIRC it's about the upper class, or those in the "haves" (upper class/elite) controlling the "have nots" (middle and lower classes).  And that starts with the middle class as a buffer between the upper class and the lower classes and also about control of the lower class.  And also that the middle class is often more readily manipulated.  I used to think it was the impoverished that were the ones more easily manipulated and that is very much true in places like the Afghanistan and many parts of Africa due to the effects of despair from little opportunity making many vulnerable to propaganda.  When you consider the effect MSM has on popular opinion and well as social media, I think those are heavily used to manipulate the middle class.  Or at least large portions of it.  I didn't agree with ALL of what was said, but the more I thought about it, much of it rang true. 

It was interesting to hear Dana talk about class warfare. It's something that is usually avoided in media for obvious reasons. There's no such thing as the poor people's news network after all, or if there is then YouTube probably arbitrarily banned it or at least buried the results with their algorithms.

The Democrats pander to the working class like the Republicans do to the Religious Right, but both sides have broken all their promises and run off to the sunset holding hands with Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex. What we are left with are the hollowed out institutions of democracy where we have about as much say as the television studio audience on The Price Is Right. They give you a t-shirt and flip on the applause sign at appropriate moments, and you can shout out your answers to the contestants but they don't have to listen.

And that's why Trump won. Because both parties are corporate sellouts and their captured constituencies either didn't show up or staged an election day mutiny against the Free Market Stooges. The voters basically threw a Hail Mary pass for something, anything that was different from the miserable status quo.

And when Trump turns out to be a disappointment then all hell will probably break loose as Democrats and Republicans come together to unleash martial law in a desperate bid to regain control by force.
