Oh ignorant youth, the world is not a joyous place. The time has come for you to dispense with the frivolous pleasures of childhood and get down to honest toil until you are sixty-five. Then and only then can you relax and collect your social security and live happily until the time of your death!

Oahu is one of the best places for NY to send their homeless to.

1. Tickets are pretty cheap on HA, about $400 one way,
2.  Warm weather year round.
3.  Government run by liberal Democrats who will give you all kinds of free stuff,
4.  Plenty of people to steal from, especially tourists.
5.  Lots of parks and freeway underpasses to live at.
A NY homeless person would be very happy here.

This has been around for a while now.  Many states that have colder weather send them to our 24/7 warm weather climate. The problem is why doesn't any of our law makers meet with law makers from other states to discuss or tell them to stop?  Or even if they do, there is no enforcement (not illegal) and no incentive for them to stop.

We have two threads on the same subject.  The other one was started earlier today and correctly placed in the Political section.  Gen Discussion  is supposed to be about gun related subjects.  I think the name Gen Discussion is confusing and should be changed.

Many used to migrate from CA up to OR and WA when I lived there.  Felt sorry for them when the typical weather in Sep/Oct came around.  Miserable. . .
