I’m trying to figure out how to connect my air conditioner effluent into my 30 gallon drum.

Yeah... or like a radiator but probably not as drinkable.

Here's sort of a DIY version.. needs water and electricity.

Or dig a hole in your yard and put a tarp over it with a rock.  Cost you about $40 for the tarp.

The air conditioning system where I used to work generated a constant flow of water.
I caught it to see how much was coming out. It could fill a 5 gal.bucket in a few hours.
So I asked the AC guy if the water was clean because my idea was to grow kalo with that constant stream of water.
He said no because they put some kind of algaecide in there so the drainage pipes don't get all slimy and clogged.

I add a few drops of bl such I to the bottom of mine for the same reason.
