The Hawaii Firearms Coalition setup a table at the Convention of States event last Thursday and were warmly greeted by many gun rights supporters in the staff and audience.

Mark Meckler, President of the Convention of States, was impressed that Hawaii wants to take charge in the gun rights movement. He's also a founder of the Tea Party Patriots and Citizens for Self Governence.

As a citizen of California and a gun owner, Mr Meckler,can relate to our gun rights struggles in Hawaii and wishes our group success. He faced his own challenges when he was arrested while checking a handgun in his baggage while passing through a New York airport due to their oppressive gun laws.
