Nunchaku Ban Struck Down. Only took 16 Years to Litigate!
« on: December 15, 2018, 06:49:33 AM »
[EDIT: When I finally hit the "post" button, after reading a bunch of extraneous material, I now see that Wolfwood posted re the same decision... mods, feel free to do whatever...]

Just under 16 years to resolve this question? Justice delayed is justice denied? Does anyone even think for a second that the delay tactic isn't foremost in the state of Hawaii's legal strategy arsenal re carry? Sickening. Disgusting. Appalling. Outrageous. Especially on the anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights, December 15, 1791. (https://www.facebook.com/TaraRoss.1787/posts/1666801366754796?hc_location=ufi).

The decision: https://www.scribd.com/document/395741986/Maloney-v-Rice-Decesion

New York's nunchaku ban was struck down today.

February 18, 2003, to December 14, 2018.

5,778 days
15 years, 9 months, 26 days
189 months, 26 days

Although Maloney is a lawyer, he will not be collecting attorney fees because he represented himself (pro se).

Take heart.  You might be able to legally carry here about the same time Social Security will have to cut your benefits to stay solvent if nothing is done.
Happily living in Puna

Can't carry outside the home, cannot have a couple sticks tied together.

One of thes i might ignore, as it is obvious the hawaii gov wants you defenseless.  i would rather knock someone over the head with an (illegal) stick than gut them with a legally carried knife.

The sticks are also useful to block antifart clubs if those faggots come to town.

I had them back in the day.  Even made my own out of broomsticks, some rope and masking tape.  Fun stuff, especially laughing at your friends when they rap themselves in the nuts trying to show off.

But seriously, I never heard of them being banned due to being considered deadly weapons.

A baseball bat or broom stick handle are deadlier than nunchuku.

I can't wait to start carrying ninja stars for protection.

I retract my previous post.  I guess you can master nunchaku and it's not just youtube heroes whacking themselves with it.

Nevermind it's a fake vid.  I guess nanchaku are back to useless and whacking yourself in face status again.
