i just ordered from knifekits.com on tuesday. tracking says i should get it tomorrow. don't know anywhere local though.

wow, shipping is a little steep at knifekits, though they do have a great selection of kydex.

Hah couple months ago I was actually browsing thruogh knifekits myself to try and DIY. I don't understand the whole vacuuming process though so I gave up.

Yeah the whole process is a little daunting but I found this is a great tutorial by custom knife maker gavkoo on YouTube that helps explain the process.

made this today. took about 3.5 hours. my friend has got it down pretty good, so that sped up the process. baked sheets in oven at 350 degrees for a minute and a half. smashed over gun with homemade press. trim with dremmel, drill, rivet, done. kind of tedious but for less than 30 bucks. i'm stoked!  gonna run it tomorrow at the hdf shoot.
