The real threat comes in the form of comments from gun owners who support this legislation claiming those of us that are against it are “out of touch”.  Constitutionally enshrined tights are not optional.   Our rights are not subject to imperial fiat.  Oh boy 14 states already have red flag laws - and how’s that working out for them?  California has a red flag law and look what just happens SD.  Maybe the other 36 states aren’t deluded by liberal “logic” and “common sense gun control” to believe that 🐂 💩

Yeah, among other quotes in the article. I'm always irked at the so-called "pro-rights" people who claim "You need to enforce the already existing laws [rather than pass new ones]". Fuck that shit. Hawaii has at least 20 laws that violate my constitutionally-protected rights, how is enforcing them anything but furthering statist tyranny? Registration, permits to acquire, barrel length, overall length, waiting periods, no private sales free of government intrusion, magazine capacity limits, "assault pistol" bans, electric gun bans, knife bans, de facto ban on concealed carry, ban on open carry, bumpstock ban, ban on any device that can "increase the rate of fire", ban on fully automatics, criminalizing failure to report a stolen gun, no this, no that, blah blah blah. All total bullshit having nothing at all to do with crime and criminals, only having to do with harassment and criminalizing of otherwise law-abiding citizens. I'll repeat myself: Fuck that shit.
