Alright, anybody see the episode where they (the 5-0 crew) went to Kokohead seeking info on a gold plated round of ammunition found at a crime scene? If so, did you notice that many of the patrons on the line were wearing holstered sidearms?

Like we can really do this......

When they were looking for charley.
I really don't follow the series, just happened to watch it "on demand" so I don[t know about "Charley." I do recall they thought it was used by the yakuza....and the contact at the range was a woman who was "usually informed of the newest ballistic characteristics" of the criminal elements...she was one of the folks wearing a holstered sidearm....the other interesting thing was that when the 5-0 crew approached her she was standing next to a large male. Not knowing their contact, they assumed it was the male and when they flashed their badges and asked if he was (whatever the name was...) the male, looking a little "disturbed" at the presence of the police, slowly backed away when the woman acknowledged she was who they were looking for. Sorta gave me the impression that he was a bad guy not looking to be involved with the police. Yet another apparent slight to us legal gun owners.....

i haven't been there in awhile but did anyone notice the nets between all the stalls to keep brass from hitting the stall next to them on that episode? i wonder if they left them up or took them with them.

I haven't been out to Kokohead in months, however when I was there............two stalls had two different types of netting set up.  I was wondering (and this is on the metallic side) if it was an experiment or something that would become more permanent.

On the silhouette side, the nets are permanent.

It's a result of the club collecting $5.00 per person, so they can improve their side of the range.

The nets were made by one of the club members.

Very little metal was used, so they should last for a long time without rusting away.

^^^Ah I C.

Funny I thought the extra $2 was due to the increase in cost of steel...........you know to replace the targets that only the club has enough firepower to destroy?
