He’s wearing a flak vest. Some folks believe he was shot in the A zone with a 9mm.
If both is true, it goes to show that using flak vests as your primary form of body armor is a waste of money. Good thing this psycho succumbed to that thought.

Seen a test on the history channel. Flak only will stop bird shot. Pistol caliber will go thru. They tested on nam era flak vest.

Same show tested k pot ww2 era. 45 wont penetrate, but would smash your skull (huge dent) . 9mm from a luger went thru.
