Well, at least according to David Pratt,  and him being a member of Virginia Justice Democrats and Indivisible Winchester means he must be right, because those people are always right. Ask them.

Pratt has written an editorial protesting open carry in general, and a weekend open carry demonstration by six Virginians exercising the right to open carry as per Virginia law.

Thus we learn:

"Believe it or not, 26 states are like Virginia permitting “open carry.” Another six states allow it but with localities able to restrict it. Another 13 allow “open carry” with a license. Only five states, California, Illinois, New York, North Carolina and Florida as well as the District of Columbia do not allow “open carry.”"

And since this guy is one of the all-knowing all-wise Democrat social justice warriors he couldn't possibly be wrong about anything... HOWEVER... I'm not willing to bet my freedom from incarceration, or worse, based upon this guy's "knowledge".

I'm sure though, that's the only thing he got wrong in the article and everything else he said is true. Sure it is.

PS I suppose it's possible he didn't include Hawaii in the list of states prohibiting open carry because as a woke social justice warrior he does not recognize Hawaii as a state, but rather an illegally occupied oppressed kingdom.
