An interesting story of "possible" abuse of the red flag law in Colorado (Read 1633 times)

Interesting that it is happening to a police officer that was probably acting in the line of duty.  All I know is from the article and video.

Seems like the officer shot a man rushing them with a knife.  The man's mother filed a red flag petition against the officer claiming that they were in a relationship and saying he posed a threat.  Judge agrees to hear the case rather than dismiss even though it seems easy to establish that the mother is lying.

More evidence will be needed to red flag LEO's than law abiding citizens.  Judges won't red flag the guys who will come and take your guns.
